Biochar Field Day at White Feather Farm
Join us at White Feather Farm in Saugerties, NY on Thursday, October 23, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a hands-on event that will spotlight biochar and climate-resilient farming practices.
The day will include:
- An overview of biochar and its applications
- A guided tour of biochar trial plots at White Feather Farm
- Demonstrations from the NY Carbon and Biochar Learning Network
- Panel discussions on policy, on-farm research, and farmer experiences
- A locally sourced lunch and optional tour of the on-site kiln
The field walk will include ample time for questions, conversation, and farmer-to-farmer knowledge sharing. We welcome you to bring your insights and experiences to the discussion!
Registration is free and lunch will be provided. Please RSVP to help us plan accordingly.
