DESCRIPTION: American Farmland Trust in partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension will host an interactive farm tour and discussion at Finger Lakes Nut Farm, focused on building soil health and managing climate-resilient tree crops. This event will highlight the potential of tree nuts and agroforestry as sustainable solutions for building farm resilience in a changing climate. Connect with other folks in agriculture, hear from local practitioners, and explore how perennial systems can support both productivity and environmental sustainability.
This is a free event designed to build community, share knowledge, and support resilient farm operations. Refreshments will be provided. Open to all landowners, farmers, and aspiring producers!
