CHAINSAW SAFETY AND TRACTOR SAFETY FOR WOMEN

For anyone who identifies as a woman interested in agriculture, we invite you to join the Women for the Land Community for a workshop on chainsaw and tractor safety. Andrea Robarge, co-owner of Poplar Tree & Lawn Care, and Christina Day, Agriculture Safety Educator with New York Center for Agricultural Medicine and Health will lead us in discussions and demonstrations on chainsaw and tractor safety, respectively.

We will meet at Fire Creek Farms, share lunch together, and observe demonstrations on how to safely operate chainsaws and tractors. Active participation welcome! If you have a chainsaw and would like to bring it, along with your personal safety equipment, please feel free! Andrea will show you techniques to safely operate it. This event is free and open to all.

Registration by Friday, October 13th is required.
