DESCRIPTION: American Farmland Trust's Women for the Land initiative invites you to a special learning circle at Schenk Homestead Farm, focused on regenerative methods for year-round vegetable production. We will cover the basics of building farm infrastructure and practices that improve year-round soil health and productivity. Connect with other women in agriculture, hear from local practitioners, and explore how perennial systems can support both productivity and environmental sustainability.
This is a free event designed to build community, share knowledge, and support resilient farm operations. Refreshments will be provided! Open to landowners, farmers, and aspiring producers. Schenk Homestead Farm is a member of AFT's Demonstration Farm Network and mentor for our Women for the Land program.
