DESCRIPTION: Join American Farmland Trust and Ontario Soil and Water Conservation District at Tamberlane Farm, a husband & wife livestock farm in Canandaigua, for a peer-to-peer Learning Circle, pasture walk, and discussion. 

We'll hear from:

• Karen Hoffman, State Animal Husbandry and Grazing Specialist with NRCS, who will provide practical advice on adaptive grazing management and pasture systems.
• Nancy Glazier, Small Farms and Livestock Specialist at Cornell Cooperative Extension NWNY, who will share strategies for improving nutrition and reproductive health in pasture-based livestock systems 

You'll learn about:

• Adaptive grazing management
• Livestock health and nutrition in grass-based systems
• Tamberlane Farm’s approach to regenerative animal care

This is a free, women-centered event designed to build community, share knowledge, and support resilient farm operations. A farm to table dinner, catered by the Local Farm Table will be served at 6 p.m. Open to everyone at every stage of your farming journey: landowners, farmers and aspiring producers welcome!
