You are invited to a Southern style picnic at Ron and Ann Fay’s Rising Meadow Farm, celebrating the official book release of “Rising Meadow”, a beautifully handcrafted book by renowned photographer Houck Medford and former North Carolina Poet Laureate Joseph Bathanti. Guests will have the opportunity to experience an afternoon on a working North Carolina farm, learn about the threats facing North Carolina farmland, in addition to what is being done to support North Carolina agriculture.
Catering will be provided by local restaurants specializing in local, seasonal fare sourced from North Carolina farms.
American Farmland Trust will be hosting this celebration and networking event at Rising Meadow Farm, Liberty, NC on October 15
