"Saving the Land that Sustains Us: A Forum for Agricultural Land Protection Practitioners" will bring together leaders from across California that are focused on the same, vital mission: protecting California's irreplaceable farms and ranches.
This is meant to be a collaborative event where we all speak, listen, and learn from each other. To tackle the biggest issues facing agriculture in California, we must work together to find solutions.
Experts from American Farmland Trust (including California director, Kara Heckert, and National Ag Land Network director, Cris Coffin), the Department of Conservation (Keali'i Bright, Division Director of the Land Resource Protection Division), and other leading state conservation organizations will be on hand to discuss topics such as easements, conservation options, landowner outreach, Farm Bill programs, and the Department's Land Trust Listening Tour Report.
