Womxn Farmer Field Day

As a follow-up to the virtual learning circle in early July, this event will provide womxn* farmers and agricultural stewards with a chance to network with peers while exploring land tenure, conservation & farm viability issues on small farms. At the event, participants will:

• Hear from conservation service providers about grant funding & technical assistance for small and urban farms;
• See conservation in action on small farms, including best-practices for irrigation and soil health;
• Learn about creative land access strategies at a unique publicly-owned agricultural park that hosts working farms;
• Receive resources on conservation technical assistance, template lease agreements, and more.

There is no charge to attend this event and light food, AFT tote bags, and resources from our agencies will be provided.

A $100 gift card to Pollinate Farm & Garden in Oakland, a Black-woman owned urban farm and kitchen supply store, will be raffled off at the event.
