This in-person workshop will include introductory talks from agricultural service providers about land access and financing resources/services that their organizations provide to farmers. There will be time for Q&A followed by a mix/mingle—an opportunity for farmers and resource folks to connect and peruse the resource materials table.
This event and dinner are FREE. Registration is required—the event is limited to 30 farmers. The renovated barn and education center are fully accessible. We will ask all attendees to wear masks when not eating.
This event is co-hosted by American Farmland Trust and Land For Good and will feature speakers from Land For Good, Farm Service Agency, Farm Credit East, Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources, Sheffield Land Trust & Berkshire Community Land Trust.
A second workshop, focusing on in-depth information about farmland access strategies will take place virtually on November 2nd from 6-7:30 pm. By signing up for this workshop, you will be added to the invite for the second workshop.
